Basil became a part of the Webb Yates Engineers team in 2023, where he quickly became involved in various significant projects, ranging from large-scale new build projects, to renovations and interior fitouts. His experience encompasses a variety of building services and public health aspects.

Passionate about sustainable design, he has applied his background in mechanical engineering to the advancement of his energy and environmental design skills, creating energy and overheating models to support the development of low impact buildings. Additionally, Basil is proficient in delivering projects in line with BREEAM certification requirements.

Before moving to the UK from India, Basil worked as a HVAC Design Engineer, primarily focusing biological cleanroom projects within the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. In 2022, he gained his MSc in Building Services Engineering from London South Bank University and went on to gain experience as an Energy and Sustainability Engineer at a UK-based engineering consultancy, where he specialised in energy modelling and assessments.
